Harmony Day, held annually on March 21 is the United Nations international day for the elimination of racial discrimination.
To mark the day an event to show solidarity with New Zealand after the recent terrorist attacks will be held in Bundanoon.
Organiser, Huw Kingston, expressed his support of the gathering.
"We must always stand against people who incite crimes and promote anti-Islamic or anti-migrant sentiments. Both Australia and New Zealand are wonderfully diverse nations and better off for that diversity," Mr Kingston said.
The event will include a performance by the Bundanoon Sings choir and an activity to send thoughts across to Christchurch.
The following members of the community will speak on the day Mazhar Alam, Exeter Public School student Alice West, New Zealander Christine Cassin, Indigenous leader and 2018 Wingecarribee Citizen of the Year aunty Wendy Lotter and reverend Jeremy Tonks.
The event will conclude with the opportunity to sign a book of remembrance and support to send to Christchurch.
The Harmony Day Gathering for Christchurch will be held at Bundanoon Soldiers Memorial Hall on March 21 from 5:30pm.
