Year 12 Chevalier College students shaved their heads last Wednesday as a part of the 2019 World's Greatest Shave.
The efforts were for their friend and classmate, Oscar Thompson who has been diagnosed with leukemia.
"It's so great to have mates doing something like this for you," Thompson said.
"This means so much to me. It's a bit overwhelming, I'm feeling great today and I'm excited.
"I just want to thank everyone who is taking part, it means so much to me."
As of March 20, $23,933.93 had been raised to help Oscar beat blood cancer.
Among the students to take part in Chevalier College Year 12 close crop for the World's Greatest Shave are:
- Blake Denney
- Eddie Bradman
- Bradley Thiessen

- Dylan Hircock
- Zinzan Still - College Captain
A further 36 boys from the college put their locks on the line shaving their heads at a private event in support of Oscar.
