Anglicare has partnered with churches and other community organisations within the area to expand the reach of their services.
The organisation will work closely with local volunteers and partners to deliver food and financial assistance to the wider Highlands community from different locations rather than out of a single office.
Head of food and financial assistance at Anglicare,Teresa Clark, is pleased with the change and looks forward to increased outreach.
"This move will allow us to deliver services to more people in need. Rather than concentrate our services in one location, we will be able to work in several outreach locations across different parts of the Southern Highlands," Clark said.
"Over the next few months, we will work with local community members and key stakeholders in the region to identify places of need. This will also include working with parishes to determine the best way to provide practical material assistance, christian care, and meaningful relationships."
While the Moss Vale office has been successful, Clark believes that mobile services will strengthen partnerships and make new links in the community.
"I would like to acknowledge the positive impact the Moss Vale office and book shop has had on the local community over many years, and recognise the staff, volunteers, donors and parishes who have been so instrumental in the success of this work," Clark said.
Anglicare's Moss Vale office will remain open until June 30.
