Two is set in a country pub, the play focuses on the lives of a misfit crowd of eccentric and hilarious regular patrons.
Two is directed by Ensemble Theatre Artistic Director, Mark Kilmurry, and is an audience hit.
Presented in March 2017 the production has toured throughout Australia.
Jim Cartwright’s classic comedy, Two, will be brought to life by Brian Meegan and Kate Raison as they play 14 different characters.
The lives of the middle-aged, couple who own the pub are on display in the play. They met as children outside the pub, were engaged in the pub, had their wedding reception in the pub, and eventually bought the pub. Over the years they had served every type of customer and audiences get to meet them. The regulars will all tell their own stories. Various members of the local community will pull up a stool and let the audience into their lives.
Two is a production about relationships, and none will fascinate more than the pub-owners, who keep an unspoken secret.
Two will be performed at Mittagong Playhouse on March 28, 29 and 30. It will commence from 7:30pm.
A matinee will be held on March 30 at 2:30pm.
