The Southern Highlands branch of the The Order of Australia Association have welcomed six new members in to the Order of Australia.

The annual reception was held at Bradman Oval on March 8, 2019 at 5:00 pm, with the official welcome at 5:30pm.
In attendance were members of the Order of Australia living in the Southern Highlands, mayor Duncan Gair, and the student leadership teams from Bowral Highschool, Moss Vale High School. Chevalier College, Frensham, Oxley College and Southern Highlands Christian School.
The new inductees are, Dr Andrew Browning AM, Tim McKinnon AM, Dr Simon Grant OAM, and the Honrable John Sharpe AM, who could not attend due to prior engagements, Dr Richard Barnett AM, Jennifer Bowe OAM, Jenny Harper OAM and Raymond Kuschert OAM.
This year the Southern Highlands branch of The Order of Australia Association raised money for the annual Braille Music Camp, the national charity group for the association. Representing the Braille Music Camp was Ben Clarke, a braille musician, who flew in from Perth to attend.
