Composer, Tim Dargaville, will hold two events in the Southern Highlands.
The first event, 'Speaking in Tongues', will be held at Golden Vale Homestead on March 15. The performance will feature a presentation and discussion by Dargaville, to provide insight into his work. He will talk about his innovative artistic practice and present new music. There will also be opportunities for questions and an afternoon tea will be held.
The second event, to be held on March 17 at Retford Park, will see Dargaville team up with Australian-based ensemble, Ironwood. The performance will feature ‘Lost Pages from the Book of Memory and Forgetting’ created by Dargaville in 2017. The composition is a creative response the loss of his mother, Rosie, through dementia.
