International Women's Day is March 8, and the Highlands is celebrating women.
Creative and Co is hosting Australian documentary film maker Sarah Dowland for its inaugural event called creative soiree.
Sarah will discuss her career and women in film. She has won an Emmy Award for her documentary Zero Days VR and a Peabody award. You can catch Sarah at the Creative & Co Concept Store, Bowral on March 8 between 9-10am. Attendance is free but RSVP is essential as light refreshments will be served. Call 41766 8595 to book.
On the education front, Bowral High School, Corpus Christi Catholic High School and Warrawong High School will be sending their female students to the Women in Surveying Day on Wednesday, March 6.
The girls will hear from surveyors at various stages along the career path from, university scholarship students to business owners, in an effort to focus on stem learning.
