From dinners and long-stemmed roses to more unique dates, here are some of the ways you can spend your Valentine’s Day in the Southern Highlands.
Love in the pub
Valentine’s Day will be no ‘mist’ opportunity if you’re in Robertson.
Head to the Robertson Public House for a delicious two-course meal on Thursday night. Entrees include cranberry gin cured kingfish, soba noodle, pickled cucumber, lime chilli and soy, as well as roast baby beets, Meredith fetta, black tahini and quinoa.
The main course will be crisp pork belly, kim chi, steamed Asian greens and sticky glaze.
If that’s not to your liking, tuck into some seared salmon, hummus, fried cauliflower, toasted almonds and pomegranate molasses.
Settle in for dinner with your date from 6.30pm.
Email events@robertsonpublichouse.com.au or call 4885 1202 for bookings.
The Robertson Public House is located at 89 Hoddle Street in Robertson.
Road trip? Alpaca lunch!
When you plan a date, alpacas aren’t usually the first thing that comes to mind.
However Sutton business Alpaca Magic will make you re-think that!
Take a drive up the Hume Highway for something a little bit different from 6.30pm to 8pm on Thursday.
A 90-minute workshop will give you the opportunity to mingle with alpacas, feed them carrots and ask their humans questions.
A complimentary barbecue dinner as well as tea and coffee will be provided.
Visit www.alpacamagic.com.au to book your tickets for $50 per person.
Alpaca Magic is located at 2771 Sutton Road in Sutton.
Candlelit and starlit dinner
Nothing says ‘ambience’ quite like a night under the stars.
Get swept off your feet at Milton Park with a glass of champagne under the oldest willow tree and long-stemmed roses for the ladies.
This will be followed by a five-course dinner by candlelight on the Cedar lawn.
Call 4861 8100 or email reservations@miltonpark.com.au for bookings or for more information.
Milton Park is located at 200 Horderns Road in Bowral.
