The temporary closure is to allow council staff to undertake repairs to the building including internal and external painting and lining of the ceiling.
During the temporary closure the amenities building, which includes the public toilet facilities, will be closed and fenced off to the general public.
The Accessible Toilet facilities will however remain open and portable toilets will be erected for the duration of the temporary closure.
The park’s other recreational and picnic facilities will also remain open.
The improvements are scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, February 27.
All timeframes are subject to weather conditions.
