Bowral Bowling Club had a good attendance of players and they all put in a solid game. There were close scores in all matches.
In the match of the day, John Fleming, Graham Hunt and Don Chapman defeated Bruce Hall, Neville Tanner and Bob Edwards, 22-19 after a extra end was played to decide the winner.
The first half of the match had team Chapman leading 12-8.
The second half of the match was a real duel with both teams into playing top bowls. Team Chapman with top all round play held a 17-14 lead with three ends to play.
Team Chapman put in great finish to win on extra end.
After the normal 21 ends had been played, team Edwards came home strong to level the scores 19-19.
After the extra end was played team Chapman picked up three shots to run out the winners.
