The exhibition runs for six days.
Ann was a finalist in the 2018 River of Art Prize and has exhibited widely in NSW’s Southern Highlands and the Illawarra.
She moved to Narooma from the Highlands a year ago and has already held an exhibition in the SoART Gallery.
“This exhibition leans more towards the abstract than my previous exhibition and is mainly oil paintings,” Ann said.
“Oils are my favourite medium.”
Ann describes her artwork as adventurous and non-conventional and says she paints “intuitively”.
“My inspiration mostly comes from exploring the outdoors, observing rock formations and sometimes this leads to producing some minimalist depictions such as in the small works in the “Sticks and Stones” collection in this exhibition,” she said.
All artworks in this exhibition are for sale.
The SoArt Gallery is on the Princes Highway next to Narooma Kinema.
The exhibition is open from January 17-22, 10am–4pm. It will be launched on Thursday, January 17, at 6pm. Everyone is welcome.
