1 – The Disability Trust Art Exhibition, Friday January 11, Bowral Art Gallery (BDAS) 1 Short Street, Bowral, 5 pm.
A creative output for people with mental health issues has resulted in a vibrant art exhibition.
The unveiling of the exhibition will be from 5 pm on Friday.
The artists will be available for talks about their works.
Entry is free and all paintings will be available for purchase.
2 – Cricket for Peace at Bradman Oval Bowral, Saturday January 12, 9/11 St Jude St, Bowral, 10 am – 5 pm.
The Fayyaz Sumbal Foundation is holding its annual Community Cup at the Bradman Oval.
The charity match is being played between a two teams, one made up of the NSW Police and the opponents, a team of people from the Australian Federal Police.
The first match between the Pakistan and India Community team, verse Yaralla kicks of at 10 am.
The main event between the AFP and NSW Police begins at 2pm.
Entry is a gold coin donation.
3 – Bowral Show, Saturday January 12, Bong Bong Racecourse, Kangaloon Rd, 8.30 am - 5.00 pm.
The 90th annual Bowral Show is on this weekend and has something to offer to everyone.
Stalls will have an array of selection such as: photography, needlework, crochet, knitting, felting, weaving, cookery, preserves and junior art.
Many prizes have been donated and will be up for grabs.
There will be an Equine Paraphernalia competition along with pavilion exhibits with pet shows, dog high jump, mini trots and ring events.
Adults are $10.00, Pensioners $5.00, Children under 14 $5.00 and for the Family $20.00.
4 – Puppet Show Nellas Wings, Sunday January 13, Sutton Forest Hall, 7414 Illawarra Highway, 11 am.
A contemporary family puppet show will be held this Sunday.
Nella's Wings will be performed by the Sydney Puppet Theatre and is about a beautiful and gentle exploration of a child's dream to fly.
No bookings necessary.
