The public hearing will be held next month at the Moss Vale Services Club on February 26 and 27.
Hume Coal project director, Greig Duncan said the hearings were an opportunity for local residents and business owners to hear the company’s business case and emphasised the importance for all community members to have their say at the public hearings.
The department of planning recently released its comprehensive assessment, finding the project was “not in the public interest.”
The assessment has been passed along to the IPC which will make the final decision following the public hearings sometime in March.
- 10am Tuesday, February 26 at Moss Vale Services Club, Argyle St & Yarrawa St, Moss Vale NSW 2577
