The Bombers were soundly beaten at Bankstown on Friday night by the Mets Misfits from Catherine Field in the latest round of the Macarthur Baseball League to the tune of 14-5.
The Stars, basically beat themselves before they took the diamond - only seven players were available given for Friday night’s match.
With the Mets one of the leading sides in the Lee Richardson Cup division two competition at the moment, they just batted into the gaps.

This weekend will be the final round before Christmas.
