On Wednesday, December 5 at Bowral Bowling Club the final of the senior singles was played.
Noel Fraser defeated Russell knight 31-16 to become senior singles champion.
This clash was expected to be close but at the finish Fraser had a comprehensive win.
The early ends favoured Knight who had a 10-5 lead after eight ends.

Then Fraser started to hit form and had drawn level 10-10 after 11 ends.
From then on Fraser appeared to be on track for a win when after 18 ends he had a 21-12 lead.
The game then became Fraser’s as he went onto win the final by 15 shots.
Knight was not allowed to hit the heights he is capable of and said that Fraser outplayed him on the day.
