The ribbons say it all, in addition to the smiles on their faces.
Close to 30 competitors took part in the event, from as far as the Hunter Valley, in addition to Canberra, Sydney’s Northern Beaches and the Illawarra.

These athletes were willing to travel long distances to enjoy the top facilities at Moss Vale, the camaraderie and cheerful competition on the day.
As most competitors participated in more than three events, there was well over 100 entries on the day in Freestyle, Backstroke, Breastroke and Butterfly.
Special Olympics is run to assist athletes with a disability to compete in a variety of sports from swimming, basketball and cricket to name a few sports.
