Keen photographer Sam Allender captured this vision perfectly on a Samsung S9 Galaxy.
In doing so she proved two things. One, that you can capture a great picture on your smartphone and two, that bees are still hard at work in the Highlands sourcing the nectar for their honey.
Honey bees play an essential role in agriculture, not only producing honey and beeswax but also pollinating a vast number of food crops.
In recent years there has been a growing concern that the number of honey bees is dwindling, which in turn has a detrimental impact on their important role in nature, particularly as far as pollination is concerned.
But it would seem this busy little bee is doing its bit to keep the honey supply going with many Highland options from which to source nectar.
