Ten relay teams represented the club at the carnival, including middle distance teams for the first time, and four managed to make the final in their age group or category.
The senior mixed under-12/under-15 4x100m team finished fourth, the girls under-10 4x100m finished fifth, the junior mixed under-8/under-11 4x100m team also finished fifth and the mixed under-9 4x100m team finished sixth.
Club president Angelo Stravoskoufis said the results were a great reward for the hard work the athletes had put in since the beginning of the season.
“The kids have trained the house down these last couple of weeks,” he said.
“They all performed beyond our expectations and they enjoyed the carnival immensely. We are really proud of them all.”
Bowral’s young athletes will now shift their focus to their Zone Championships in Wollongong on December 1 and 2.
