Exeter based trainer Sarah Murray-Leslie will have two horses racing at the Highlands event.
Denim Street will run in the 1200m Open Handicap race.
A locally owned horse, Murray-Leslie said she came from a City trainer with the aim to run at Bong Bong.
Denim Street has been with the Highlands trainer for just a few months now and the pair have a few race meets together under their belts including a win at Cowra.
“She should be ready [for Bong Bong] and I think she should be very competitive,” Murray-Leslie said.
In the lead up to Bong Bong, Denim Street will race at Gundagai on Friday (November 16).
The 1200m Open Handicap is a race Murray-Leslie is very familiar with, having won in 2017 with Ain’t She a Dane and in 2013 with Sticky Danish.
“I love to go and I love to win.”
Murray-Leslie will also have Blue Fiasco in the Class 2, 1000m race.
She said the horse was a”bit of an unknown” and “probably designed to go further in distance”.
“I hope she does well,” Murray-Leslie said.
Blue Fiasco has come from New Zealand and recently enjoyed a win at Nowra in the 1100m maiden handicap race.

While Murray-Leslie has not had the chance to get the horses out on the track, she was out at the Bong Bong course a couple of weeks ago and said the racing surface looked to be in “tip top” condition.
And in the big race, Goulburn based trainers Emma and Lucy Longmire will have Henson Park Blubag racing.
Emma said Henson Park Blubag came to their stables earlier this year in September with three previous wins to her name and “was purposely bought for the Bong Bong Cup”.
They recently raced her at Canberra where she finished seventh.
“She was a bit too keen,” Emma said.
Henson Park Blubag will also be racing at Gundagai on November 16 and Emma said she needed the meet to prepare her better for Bong Bong next week.
“The track should suit her. She’s able to put herself in a forward position.”
The Longmires are not unfamiliar with the Bong Bong Cup.
They had a horse which finished fourth a couple of years ago and also had one entered last year- which was also bought for the Cup- before the race was washed out.
“We had so much fun last year,” Emma said.
Nominations for Bong Bong 2018 will close at 11am on Monday, November 19.
Bong Bong will be held on Friday, November 23.
The theme for this year’s event will be Celebrating our Farmers.
Gates will open at 10am with the first race at about 1.10pm.
