To nominate for FOWAS head into the Telstra Store Mittagong before December 2 and vote for the group.
If the group wins the money, the funds will go towards assisting dogs and cats at the Wingecarribee Animal Shelter.
This will include upgrades for a cattery, specialty food, elective surgeries, enrichment toys and the services of a qualified dog trainer.
FOWAS president Deborah Barnes said the team was grateful for the recognition.
“We’re thrilled to be nominated and to be recognised by Telstra as worthy nominees of this project,” she said.
“It is a great way to have the shelter recognised.”
