This includes Box Vale Road in Welby, Old Bowral Road in Mittagong, Lyell Street in Mittagong, Sir Charles Moses Lane in Welby and Nattai Road in Welby.
The purpose was for council to make an application to NSW Department of Industry – Land and Water to endorse a transfer of the crown roads to council as roads authority.
A motion, moved by Councillor Larry Whipper and seconded by councillor Grahame Andrews, was passed that council makes an application to the NSW Department of Industry – Lands and Water for the transfer of the crown roads.
This was a part of council’s strategic plan to provide effective financial and asset management ensure council’s long term sustainability.
