Polar Bears snatched a last minute goal to sink the Mariners 5-4, in the Southern Highlands Water Polo A grade clash on Monday evening.

Both teams had gone down last week and were keen to return to the winners’ list.
Polar Bears struck first but the Mariners came back to level the score 2-2 at halftime.
The Polar Bears regained the lead to be ahead 4-3 at the end of the third quarter but they certainly didn’t look comfortable.
Mariners kept up the pressure and were rewarded, levelling up with only three minutes to play.
With the wind in their sails they looked likely to take out the match.
Great goal keeping by Andrew Basaglia frustrated the Mariners.
In their eagerness to counterattack they broke a fraction early, leaving Polar Bears with an opportunity to seal the match with a good goal and less than a minute to play.
Sharks defeated Dolphins in a high scoring match 10-9.
The Sharks were fortunate to meet Dolphins without their goalscoring machine Daniel Barnes.
The scores were even throughout the first half of the match, before Sharks were able to forge ahead by three goals heading into the final quarter.

In B Grade Horton's Heroes had to work hard for the 6-4 win over Dolphins.
They were pushed right out, as they had to come from behind to take the win.
Behind 2-3 at halftime after a great quarter by Dolphins in the second period, Horton’s Heroes proved that they weren’t undefeated B grade competition leaders for no reason and they weren’t about to relinquish this position.
They fought back with two unanswered goals in the third period and a 2-1 final quarter to give them the win.
Polar Bears B had a narrow 3-2 win over Oxley Blue.
This was a game of two halves with Polar Bears leading 2-0 after a goal in each of the first quarters before Oxley Blue rallied to score goals in each of the final two quarters to level the match up at 2-2.
Good goal keeping from Oxley, kept them in the match before Luc Puchert found the back of the net to give the Bears the win.
Mariners B had a comfortable win over Oxley Gold 9-3.
Mariners had too much experience for the young Oxley Gold side.
To their credit Oxley made a match of it in the second half when they scored all of their three goals.
