It was Lynne’s first competition win and is sure to give her confidence for future events.

Lynne played some good bowls during the rounds but unfortunately for Irene, saved the best for the final.
Leading 12-3 after eight ends she continued to pull ahead to be 15 shots in front by the 13th end, setting the tone for the remainder of the match which she won 25-9.
