Notice of rescission motion for hospice
Councillors Ian Scandrett, Larry Whipper and Garry Turland have given a notice of a rescission motion for a decision made at the October 10 ordinary meeting to refuse a development application for a health services facility and hospice in Bowral.
The notice of motion asks the decision to be deferred to allow further discussions between the applicant and council around concerns that have been raised with the proposed development.

Botanic Gardens lease
The Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens has put in a request in respect to its lease for the site at 1 Old South Road, East Bowral.
The recommendation is that authority be delegated to the general manager to negotiate the terms and conditions of a lease, and that it be noted that the term of the proposed lease be 30 years.
The term will be subject to the consent of the minister for local government to that term.
Proposed transfer of crown roads
Councillors have been asked to approve an application to NSW Department of Industry (Land and Water) to endorse the transfer of the several Crown Roads to council as roads authority.
The roads include Old Bowral Road in Mittagong, Lyell Street in Mittagong, Box Vale Road in Welby, Sir Charles Moses Lane in Welby and Nattai Road in Welby.
Lyell Street, Mittagong, Old Bowral Road Mittagong, Sir Charles Moses Lane, Welby and Boxvale Road, Welby are formed roads.
The Crown road known as Nattai Street, Welby is unformed. Council has existing water and sewer mains infrastructure contained with the Crown Road reserves which council intends to renew.
Council has applied to the Crown for a temporary licence over the roads to enable the works to proceed.
