Police have charged two men with assault after an incident involving an 18-year-old student in Moss Vale.

The 18-year-old man was walking along Argyle Street in Moss Vale at 6.20pm on Tuesday, October 16 when two men approached him near the railway bridge.
According to police, one of the two men demanded money, and the 18-year-old man was struck on the back.
The victim ran away from the pair and into a nearby shop, where he called the police.

Southern Highlands police investigated the incident and identified the two men that were involved.
At 12.30pm on Thursday, October 18, the men were found near a tattoo parlor in Campbelltown.
According to police, one of the men was carrying a small amount of methamphetamine.
The two men were taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where they were charged with assault with intent to rob and were refused bail.
