The Burrawang Village Hotel was named a finalist for the AHA NSW Awards for Excellence this week.
The business shares the category with nine other hotels from across NSW.
This is the first time the Burrawang Village Hotel has been named a finalist in the state awards.

The hotel team unveiled a new-look premises, after a renovation last year.
Owner Peter Dean said the team was thrilled to be in the running for the award.
“It’s a big honour for a small country pub,” Mr Dean said.
“The team has put a lot of hard work in. It’s rewarding for everyone, from front of house to the back of house, from builders to designers.”
Mr Dean also recognised the Burrawang community for its support.
“We have a really strong, loyal local crowd, especially within the Burrawang community. They’ve been supportive and happy with the changes,” he said.
“We also get a great weekend visitor crowd. We get a lot of recommendations from wedding facilities.”

Mr Dean also thanked the hotel’s suppliers, including Burrawang business Maugers Meats.
Hotel manager Charlie Cook said he was pleased to receive the recognition.
“It’s really nice to see all of the work recognised,” Mr Cook said.
"I’d like to thank the owners Peter and Kate Dean, the chefs, the bar staff and all of the locals.”
The AHA NSW Awards for Excellence are recognised as the most prestigious awards programme in the hospitality industry.
The awards honour the achievement of excellence in NSW hotels across a variety of segments including accommodation, dining, entertainment, marketing, social media, community service and talented employees.
