The convoy will be at the Quest for Life centre in Bundanoon from 10.30am to 12pm on October 8, as part of the largest awareness event for post-traumatic stress.
An opening address will commence at 11am.
“Quest for Life is delighted to support Stand Tall for PTS and raise awareness of a condition that affects 12 percent of Australians at some point in their lifetime,” Quest for Life CEO Petrea King said.
“We know that post-traumatic growth is possible.”
The Lightning Bolt II Invictus Convoy is a procession of military, firefighting, ambulance, police and support vehicles travelling through four states in October to raise awareness for post-traumatic stress (PTSD) and support the Invictus Games.
Veteran, former Australian cricketer and Stand Tall 4 PTS founder Tony Dell, Ambassador for Help for Heroes Gemma Morgan and Petrea King will together shine a light on the impact that post-traumatic stress has on the lives of so many.
The procession will stop at the Quest for Life Centre for morning tea with veterans and the local community.
“We look forward to welcoming locals to see the spectacle and chat about post-traumatic stress with convoy participants and experts in the field,” Ms King said.
