This was significant as this wine has already won many awards since being released more than eight years ago.
Cherry Tree Hill received the accolade at a presentation held at the Bradman Museum on Friday, September 28.
Meanwhile Tertini Wines won the Destination Southern Highlands trophy at the Australian Highlands Wine Show for best dessert wine in show for its 2017 Noble Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc.

Sallys Corner Wines won the trophy for the best merlot of show for its 2016 merlot.
It has also been a big month for Centennial Vineyards.

Mittagong family off to Paris
Taking her daughter to Disneyland is on top of the ‘wish list’ for one lucky Mittagong resident who will soon be heading to Paris, courtesy of Bakers Delight.
Nicki Leneve was recently announced as the winner of a trip for two to Paris, just for purchasing one of the bakery’s new brioche range and entering the competition on line.
A keen traveller, Nicki has spent two days in France before but is looking forward to experiencing a longer stay this time with her family.
“I am taking my Mum and my daughter with me. My mum has been to Paris but my daughter has never been overseas,” she said.
Bakers Delight Mittagong owner Geoff Harrington said he and his wife Jo were delighted the major prize went to one of his customers.
“We are thrilled that such a terrific holiday experience has been won by someone in our local community,” he said.
