“We provide a full measure and quoting service and installation of carpets, carpet tiles, engineered timbers and laminates, vinyl and vinyl planks and cork flooring, Mr Winter said.”
“We carry a range of carpets and vinyls in our warehouse for those with a lower budget in mind or when an urgent installation is required. We work locally and also outside the Southern Highlands in Sydney, Canberra, South Coast, Blue Mountains in commercial and domestic.”
“We have been established in the Southern Highlands for 25 years offering quality service from our sales staff and installers. The 600m2 showroom displays sampling in a larger format. We are still regarded as a wool retailer and carry an extensive range from local and overseas suppliers, such as Cavalier/Bremworth, Prestige, Karastan and Brintons. We have direct accounts with all our suppliers and don't deal through third parties, Our customers feel secure dealing with an established business that has been here for 25 years providing a good after-sales service for all our clientele. Many of our customers have returned to us more than just once and we are now dealing with the next generation of the same family.”
“Oak timber floors and vinyl timber-look planks are the latest trend in hard floors as they are so easy to maintain. Carpets have many various fibres other than wool such as solution-dyed nylon, polyester and poly-propelene. We are very much in a fashion industry now, the colour trend tends to be more towards the conservative grey/beige colours.”
“Not all floor covering types are suited to the various sub floors and customers are sometimes unaware of the issues that can occur if given the wrong information. This is why we insist on a site inspection prior to providing the final quotation.”
“The Highlands is a great place to have a successful business, as once you have built a relationship with a builder, real estate or developer you are assured of a long-term relationship if you continue to provide a consistent standard of service.”
John Winter has always contributed to various charities and sporting groups through donations and sponsorship.
