Recently Bundanoon police officer senior constable Mark Hutchinson transferred to the Cootamundra area after serving the area for more than two years.
In his place, senior constable Kylie Phillips has been appointed to officer-in-charge of Bundanoon.
As the officer-in-charge, she is responsible for Bundanoon, Exeter, Paddy’s River, Penrose and Wingello.
Senior constable Phillips is passionate about crime prevention and community safety. If you live or work in these areas, please don’t hesitate to call senior constable Phillips on 4883 6044. Meanwhile constable Kellie Weller will serve the community of Robertson as officer-in-charge. Constable Weller is also responsible for Mount Murray, Kangaloon, Burrawang, Fitzroy Falls, and Wildes Meadow.
Constable Weller and her young family play soccer and are heavily involved with Robertson Soccer Club.
Constable Weller also attends local schools where she interacts with students and educates them on safety issues. Constable Weller can be reached on 4885 1244.
If senior constable Phillips or Weller are not available, your call will be answered at the Southern Highlands Police Station and your message will be passed on.
Crash at Sutton Forest
A two-truck crash closed one northbound lane on the Hume Highway at Sutton Forest late last week.
The crash happened just after 3.20pm on Thursday afternoon. Police, Fire and Rescue crews and ambulance crews attended the scene.
Two people were assessed by paramedics, however neither had injuries.
