Following a 12-month trial an application to modify the hours of operation of Woodbine Park Nominees trucks along Wombeyan Caves Road was debated at the September 12 council meeting.
The modification sought to amend the hours of operation from 7am to 6pm on weekdays to a 24-hour operation.
Resident Jenny Bailey addressed councillors about her concerns, which included truck activity in the early hours of the morning and wildlife which had been killed on the road.
Councillors voted unanimously to defer the matter until the October 10 council meeting to allow council staff, the owner/applicant and the objectors to resolve the objectors’ concerns.
