Bowral again struggled for numbers and had several players backing up from reserve grade.
Captain Stuart Kinsella said it was a tough day out for his team that was “out on our legs” for the final 20 minutes.
“It was a really good effort the guys put in, you can’t question that,” he said.
“Full credit to Hill Top, they played really well.”
As Bowral tired, the scoreline blew out which Kinsella said was a shame but remained hopeful they could bounce back against Yerrinbool-Bargo Bushrangers this week and welcome a few players back.
Kris Spilarewicz, Josh Nickl, Will Jacobs and John Friedewald all scored two goals each with Tim Stone and Cameron Halias also finding the back of the net.
In the other men’s match, Mittagong forfeited to Yerrinbool. This weekend, the other match will be between Hill Top and Moss Vale.
