Chevalier’s netballers once again were near and far playing at six different venues on the weekend.

The rugby boys were across the road at Oxley and at home the hockey girls plus the girls and boys footballers were in action.

In hockey, the winners were the Chev Firsts, Seconds, and Fourths with the Thirds sharing the points.

Goalscorers for the Firsts in a solid win against Barker were Tessa Good (two) and Gabby Bunyan.

For the Seconds, in a 2-0 win, the goals were scored by Georgia Pisano and Olivia Bova. All of the Chev hockey teams have made it into the semi-finals.

The girls footballers were playing against Barker, Oxley and Redlands.

The Seconds started the day with their first win of the season against Barker. 

Ashanti Still (two) and Charlotte Lowe were the goalscorers The undefeated Firsts played Oxley and went ahead early.

Oxley had a couple of very good counter attacking goals in the second half to take the points.

The Inter girls managed a 1-0 win against their local rivals. The soccer boys were playing Oxley, Redfield and St Andrews.

Winning teams were the 13As , 15Bs , 16s and Seconds.

The Seconds scored some great goals in a 5-0 win against Oxley.

Goalscorers were Alex Hall, Sid Shah, Liam Mulhall, Oliver VDB and Rob Macleod with an absolute cracker from a free kick.

The Chev Firsts remain undefeated but could not find the back of the net against Oxley in a tightly contested 0-0 draw. The 16s were supeb in a convincing win over St Andrews.

The rugby boys were playing Oxley in the eagerly anticipated local derbies.

In a good day of play the Chev teams were winners in all age groups except the final game of the day which came down to the final kick of the day.

Oxley managed to kick a penalty goal on the full time whistle to score a one point victory.

It was their first win over Chev in the Firsts in the history of the ISA competition.

In other results the Firsts and Seconds netballers finished with close results but went down against Redlands and St Andrews.

Winners for Chev with most teams on the road were the Junior Bs.

The majority of netball teams have also made it to the semi-finals.

In the tennis Chev Firsts defeated Pius seven sets to one. Albert Locke played really well in winning his singles.  Andrew McIntosh completed the season undefeated in singles match And a special mention for Harriett Poulter who has completed six years of dedicated service to Chev tennis.
