The Spuddies went down 14-10 against the Gorillas on the weekend in what coach Steve Ross described as a “ordinary” performance.
Depending on other results and if Robertson can win all its remaining matches, there remains a slim chance they will play finals football this year.
With limited game time over the past few weeks, Ross said it had been hard to gain momentum in the Group 7 competition and this, along with injuries, likely contributed to the side’s flat performance.
“There wasn’t much we did right.”
Jake Temporali and Griffin Turner both scored for Robertson.
The Spuddies sit in sixth spot on the ladder with 15 points, two points behind Gerringong Lions.
In third grade, Shellharbour City Sharks forfeited against the Spuddies.
