My Highlands Home is an exhibition of paintings entered into the inaugural Belle Property Bowral Art Prize 2018.
You will get a glimpse into the Southern Highlands as seen by the region’s artists.
2 – Mental as Anything – August 10 from 8.30pm at Bowral Bowling Club, 40 Shepherd Street, Bowral. Doors open at 6pm.
Popular 80s band Mental As Anything brings its unique brand of rock ‘n’ roll and a swag of hits to the Bowral Bowling Club for a show not to be missed. Tickets are available via www.eclecticsounds.com.au, Moshtix or Bowral Bowling Club.
3 – Music at Ten – The Geist Quartet August 11 from 10am at the Soldier’s Memorial Hall, Bundanoon.
Sydney born Tony Lee is one of the most highly awarded pianists in Australia. He makes a welcome return to Bundanoon with a program of works by Scarlatti, Benjamin, Schubert/Liszt and Prokofiev.
4 – Trio Pollastri: An afternoon of chamber music. August 12 at 51F Sunninghill Avenue, Burradoo, from 2.30pm.
Trio Pollastri presents Mozart, Clara Schumann and Suk in the Rose Room. Tickets at the door (Adults $35, Concession $30, Under 18s free) including afternoon tea.
5 – Recital by Jose Carbo baritone and John Martin on piano. August 12 at St Jude’s Church, Bendooley Street, Bowral from 2.30pm.
The program titled “Where My Heart Leads: Love Songs from Many Lands” baritone Jose Carbo and pianist John Martin will provide an enriching afternoon of beautiful songs from such countries as Spain, Italy, Germany and France.
Admission $30/$25, students $15.
