The Southern Stars Baseball Club’s division two Bandits side lost the division 2B major semi-final to the Campbelltown Cubs at Jurd Park in Colo Vale on the weekend.

The final score on the day was 9-7.

The Cubs, the only side to beat the Bandits on the field (apart from forfeits) all season, will now progress to the grand final on August 18.

The Southern Stars Bandits will line up for a “must win” game against the Casula Lakers Outers this weekend to determine the other grand final side.

The Lakers won their way through to next week by defeating the Camden Red Sox All Stars in the Division 2B Minor Semi Final.

The final score for the game ended up at 25-13.

This weekend Bandits will play the Lakers Outers at Gilchrist Oval in Campbelltown at 12.15pm on Saturday.
