A 74-year-old Sydney man has died after a single vehicle crash, southbound on the Hume Highway at Pheasants Nest.
According to a police spokesman, the man was pronounced dead by a doctor en-route to Liverpool Hospital.
The spokesman said the Jaguar car was on the off-ramp near the 7-Eleven service station when the vehicle came off the road, rolled multiple times and landed in a paddock.
Police are still on the scene and are investigating the cause of the crash.
UPDATE 9:30am:
Ambulance crews were called just after 8am about the crash.
Ambulance NSW responded with five ambulance vehicles to treat a man believed to be in his mid sixties.
The man was unconscious and not breathing when ambulance crews arrived, the spokesperson said.
Crew members performed CPR and was conveyed to Liverpool Hospital.
His condition is unknown.
Crews are still on the scene.
EARLIER 9:12am
Multiple police vehicles, multiple ambulances and the TOLL rescue helicopter were all on the scene of a single vehicle crash, southbound on the Hume Highway near Pheasants Nest.
An eye witness said it appeared a car had rolled down a ditch near the off ramp coming into the 7-Eleven service station at Pheasants Nest.
The eye witness said there were multiple emergency service vehicles and a tow truck was in attendance.
There are no reports of other drivers or patients being involved or injured.
The Live Traffic NSW website reported the crash at 8:19am on Wednesday.
