One of the key ways in which the council undertakes consultation is via our online community engagement hub called ‘Your Say Wingecarribee’. At this website you can find the latest information on major construction projects, community schemes and social initiatives we may be either considering or currently undertaking.
As part of this consultation we often undertake community surveys. Surveys enable us to gauge the interest of a particular scheme or help us refine a future initiative.
Two areas we’re currently seeking feedback from residents include this year’s Pie Time festival and our communication and engagement processes.
Pie Time was launched in 2017 and following its inaugural success was expanded this year. As part of this survey we’re asking what parts of the festival residents liked and what areas they’d like to see changed or improved.
The Communication and Engagement survey on the other hand will be used to refine our Communication and Community Engagement Strategies. This survey seeks to find out how residents prefer to be kept informed. Are you happy with the different communication channels we use – like this newspaper, our community newsletters and social media sites – or would you prefer we contact you a different way?
We also know that most people today don’t have a lot of spare time so to encourage as many residents as possible to complete these surveys, we’re offering readers the chance to win a prize pack or gift voucher.
All responses gathered will be confidentially held with all personal details to be removed.
So if you’ve got some time to spare, we’d love to hear from you.
