On June 16, the association held its second round of crazy sock and hair competitions due to postponed games as a result of poor weather.
SHNA competition coordinator Kate Bow said it was great to see the sun shining during the games, but the arctic conditions were not so great.
“Under blistering conditions, kids tried their hardest to shoot goals, but they needed to take the wind into account as the ball was blown all over the place,” Bow said.
Four teams went head to head at the Eridge Park courts.
Moss Vale Dragons Ladies Blue defeated Mittagong Netball Club 22-19.

Bowral Butterflies Opens Black was defeated 79-31 by Moss Vale Ladies Red.
Through a gold coin donation made by the players on the day and a cake stall, $220 was raised on the day.
This brought the total amount raised for the Kids’ Cancer Project to $826.90.
