Mittagong man Richard Denman was playing golf with the Camden Uniting Church Social Golf Club at Glenmore Park when his mate Carl found himself perched in a precarious position after his tee-off shot landed perfectly on a stump.
The rules of golf dictate that a player must take their shot from where it lands, whenever possible – so Carl did just that.
Despite this lucky landing, Mr Denman said the rest of Carl’s game was not blessed by lady luck.
