Four rising stars of Australian opera will come to Bowral for an afternoon recital dedicated to the passion, drama and humor of love.
The performance will star soprano Josephine Stark, mezzo-soprano Barbara Jin, tenor Daine Ellicote and baritone Emilio Mancia.
Mixed Love will feature some of the world’s most adored opera pieces about love including music from Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro, Lakm, The Barber of Seville, and Bizet’s Carmen.

2 – Five Ways to Well-being Festival Replay. Sunday, May 27 from 10am to 2pm. Corbett Gardens, Wingecarribee Street, Bowral.
Celebrate young people living in the Highlands. This fun-filled event will feature the Wests Tigers mascot, giveaways, Aboriginal cultural workshops and live performances.
A range of youth service providers will have stalls and information on support available to young people and the families in the Highlands.
There will be a blow-up obstacle course, face painting, food stalls, food trucks and more.
3 – Music in the gardens. Sunday, May 27 from 11am to 2pm. Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens, 1 Old South Road, Bowral.
Bring a rug and picnic to enjoy while you listen to music in the gardens. A sausage sizzle, coffee and tea will be available.
Entry will be through a gold coin donation. All proceeds will go to the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens.
4 – Choir. Sunday, May 27, 3pm. St Jude’s Chrich, Bendooley Street, Bowral.
Sit back and enjoy The Mater Chorale’s performance of Evensong. There will be two anthems – I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills by New Zealance composer Chris Artley and Enosh by Louis Lewsndowski.
