The event has previously been held in the Southern Highlands for the past 18 years.
Di Jones General Manager and Chair of the Clown Doctors Working Committee Kylie Walsh said the decision to move the ball was to attract a wider audience and raise more money for the charity.
“The Clown Doctors are medical clowns who are specially trained by The Humour Foundation to work in a hospital setting. They provide an environment where children and their families can smile laugh and play while undergoing treatment and facing very difficult challenges,” Ms Walsh said.
“Research has shown that the therapeutic benefits of humour in improving the health and wellbeing of sick children is dramatic. We chose to support the Clown Doctors because of the strong family link that our brand has.”
The Clown Doctors Annual Ball will be held at Luna Park in Sydney on Thursday, August 30.
Tickets will be $195 per head and include entry to the ball, a three-course meal, drinks and refreshments and entertainment.
There will also be a charity and silent auction and the draw of a brand new Hyundai i30 on the night.
