Mossywang defeated Robertson 4-3.
Robertson coach Brendon McDonald said his team played well but he wished they had scored more goals.
“That’s definitely something we need to work on for next game,” McDonald said.
“That and a better ball control, but overall it was a great competition and both teams played well.”
Mittagong Lions celebrated a 5-2 victory over Bowral.
Bowral coach Lindsay Leneve admitted his team played poorly against a team he described as ‘exceptional.’
“We kept our heads down too much,” Leneve said.
“We didn’t play as a team and carried out too many short passes.
“We let ourselves down.”
Leneve said next game he would like to see his team stick to their structure and strengths and show greater teamwork when they take on MossyWang.
