Weekend Weather: A cold snap on the cards for Southern Tablelands

While the jumpers may have come out a couple of weeks ago, come Friday it might be time to up the anti with scarves, beanies and thermals.

The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting a minimum of 1 degree and a maximum of 8 degrees on Friday.

There is a 70 per cent chance of rain, falling between 2 and 5 millimetres, as well as westerly and south-westerly winds blowing from 25 to 45 km/h.

A little warmer, Saturday will see a minimum of 5 degrees and a maximum of 12 degrees. 

A shower or two is expected, but winds are likely to ease.

On Sunday, the clouds will probably hag around but the chance of rain will reduce significantly.

At a minimum of 6 degrees and a maximum of 15 degrees, there is a 10 per cent chance of rain.
