The first dance will be held at the War Memorial Hall on May 27 and will offer a mixture of dance options including old time and bush dance, disco, rock and roll and more. Some ever-popular dances including the Hokey Pokey, Toe Polka, Barn Dance and Pride of Erin will also make an appearance.
Organisers have described the event as a family friendly dance for the young at heart, the young and everyone. They are also hopeful the May dance will be the first of many.
Music for the night will be presented by Shay Byrne. The fun will kick off at 4pm at the War Memorial Hall with admission $5 per person. Children under 12 are free. A barbecue will also be run on the night. Details: 4889 8549.
