If it was not for Public Health First this community would know very little about what is happening with this project.
Minister for Health, Brad Hazzard and the CEO of our local health district, Ms Amanda Larkin, have had to resort to copying and pasting letters to PHF so they get their stories right.
No two people tell the same story or have the same facts!
I throw down the gauntlet about the community information sessions and call on the hospital's GM to publish the exact numbers who attended these sessions this time round.
This form of communication did not work last time so why would it work now.
The numbers were tiny and there was no new information except the shell for the Emergency Department (a facility that should be included in the rebuild but isn't) is going to be used as a car park.

Wombeyan Caves Road neglect
Re your recent story on poor roads SHN April 30 Burradoo Intersection a ‘death trap’ and editorial The road to safety needs immediate action:
The unsealed section of Wombeyan Caves Road is in the worst condition in 20 years.
The road is a buck passing nightmare between RMS and council.
It is an RMS road maintained by council.
There is no money in the new budget for Wombeyan Caves Road until 2019.
At the moment the council mantra is that "nobody lives out there".
Yet over 400 vehicles passed in 10 hours over the last holiday weekend.
We are due for a major accident on this road due to neglect.
