The Kollege of Knowledge Kommittee for Kids (4K) president Tony Springett and treasurer Ray Hawkes presented Bradman Foundation executive director Rina Hore and Bradman Centre head coach Jock McIllhatton with $21,000 for the Coverdrive program on Monday.
The program provides 55 Moss Vale High School and Bowral High School students living with disabilities with opportunities to participate in summer and winter sports.
4K president Tony Springett said the committee was happy to help the program.
“It’s such a wonderful thing for us to do for special needs kids,” Mr Springett said.
Jock McIllhatton said the program made an improvement in the lives of children living with disabilities.
“In the past children never got involved in sport amongst their peers, they weren’t a part of it,” he said.
“There’s a changed outlook [with the program].”
