Dr Goodwin is Australia’s premier voice on technology and development, helping parents to navigate the increasingly intrusive world of digital devices and raising what she calls ‘screen-agers.’
A mother of two, Dr Goodwin is no stranger to techno-tantrums. She dedicated her career to understanding the impact of technology on young minds and developed strategies to help parents raise happy, healthy and tech-wise children.
Her presentation, Raising your child in a digital world, will deliver practical information and advice.
It will address common challenges such as technology addiction and online risks, as well as the flow-on effect of parents’ own digital behaviours.
The parent seminar will be open to all parents, not just those in the Tudor House community.
Tudor House head of school Anni Sandwell said Tudor House was looking forward to the presentation.
“We are really excited to invite parents from across the region into Tudor House to be able to hear from a world-class speaker on such an important topic which concerns all families,” Ms Sandwell said.
The Tudor House parent evening will be held at 7pm on May 3 at Tudor House, 6480 Illawarra Highway, Moss Vale.
