Five teams competed against each other on April 19 where they were required to find their way around Bowral to various locations by completing puzzles and navigating cryptic clues.
The Amazing Race spanned across Loseby Park, PLAY Party Zone, Bowral Central Library and Bradman Oval.
With prizes donated from PLAY Party Zone, Highlands Tenpin, Empire Cinemas, and Dominos, everyone was a winner.
The Highlands Youth Centre’s Jason Cikos said it was a great event for the children.
“It gives them the opportunity to get physical while also teaching them knew skills and providing some education,” Mr Cikos said.
“We may even introduce an adults team next year or later this year.”
The final challenge appeared easy at first – balance along timber, throw a football through a target, complete quoits and hit a baseball.
However, it came with a catch – participants were required to wear distortion goggles.
National Youth Week will come to an end in the shire on April 21 with a pop-up movie night.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be played in Leighton Gardens at 6.30pm.
