The team had a 24-20 win over the Moss Vale Dragons at Community Oval on Sunday.
Mittagong’s Rhiannon O'Neal helped the team with a strong performance during the game.
Meanwhile Joelle Roach was zippy in and around the ruck, and Brooke Meadows slotted into full-back well and had a couple try saving tags.
Michelle Cassidy defended well in marker making four out of five tags on numerous occasions, and Emma Young-Whitford and Lola Fay kicking for goal are on fire if they miss its not by much
Going into round two, the team will focus on keeping it basic and playing in its own style, regardless of the referee.
The ladies league tag team will take on Picton in an away game at Picton at 9am on Sunday.
